Sammy Ghorab, EI
Owner and Educator/Tutor

Hi! I'm Sammy, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed in math and chemistry. With over 16 years of experience, I've helped students of all ages, from kindergarten to college, achieve their academic goals. With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my tutoring sessions. To add to that, I'm also a Certified Teacher in Math and Chemistry and can assist with public, private, and homeschool curricula including FLVS.

At the core of my tutoring philosophy lies the importance of building strong relationships with both students and parents. By understanding each student's unique needs and goals, I'm able to tailor my approach to ensure effective learning outcomes. Whether it's providing immediate assistance before a test or guiding students through standardized exam preparation, I'm committed to helping every student succeed.

Before diving into tutoring sessions, I prioritize getting to know my students and their families during a complimentary consultation over Zoom. This allows us to discuss goals, timeframe, budget, and ensure a good fit for everyone involved.

Having worked with numerous families in Brevard County and around the State of Florida, I have extensive experience in addressing diverse educational challenges and helping students reach their full potential.

In some situations, there are students who are completely lost and need some guidance to understand and master concepts within a short time frame before a test.

In other situations, students need help with preparing for a standardized exam, which is related to meeting high school graduation requirements, scoring high enough to take courses at Eastern Florida State College and possibly pursuing an AA degree, passing AP exams to earn college credit, or obtaining high scores for scholarships or university admissions or summer preparation classes to catch up or get ahead.

Tutoring sessions are available both in-person and online, with flexible durations to accommodate varying needs. I offer one-on-one sessions as well as small group sessions for up to four students.

My expertise covers a wide range of courses and standardized tests, including but not limited to math (from elementary to college-level), science/chemistry, and various standardized exams such as BEST Algebra 1 EOC, BEST Geometry EOC, SAT Math, ACT Math, and PERT Math.
